Yesterday I was talking with a great guy and we talked about career path in big Tech companies: manager of people or individual contributor (IC). One is supposed to be focused on people the other on tech. But in the end, if as an IC you reach the top, you will be representing your company at the ISO or working to make the next big thing and you will never do it alone and there is always someone to convince of giving you budget or a team.
In the end it is all about people.
Make sure your next book is about humans not tech.
