I’m shaving with a cut throat razor.
Rationally it is NOT the right thing to do:
- the cost is very marginally better but the time it takes to shave makes it higher
- takes ages for a shave (15)
- requires lots of accessories to do it well. pre-shave and post-shave lotions, soaps, shaving brushes
- cuts cuts cuts, six on the first shave three on the second, one on following ones, still always a risk
So why?
Because for 15 minutes my brain does not think, and it is very, very relaxing. As the focus is 100% on the very dangerous activity that is shaving.
