Struggling with workload? My recommended first step

I used to feel overloaded first thing in the morning, simply by looking at all the numbered red dot showing over apps like: emails, slack, skype, calendar, paper stack (yes I’ve that too), and other. The tip I’ve used to cope, is to: remove the notifications (less reactive) do a review of all the apps regularly, but no more than 3 times per day.
