Value of private data

For a number of reasons I am very interested in the value of private data. My question for you is: how should we account for the value of data when the traditional ways of measuring success would consider a company with 0 revenue, lots of losses and 14 employees and lots of data to be very bad while WhatsApp got sold for $14B? Please reply in the comments to share knowledge and ideas (sharing is one of my core values) Read more...

Sleep

My article written on the 19th of December 2019 made it clear, being tired has a big impact on my brain. While the article was a one-sentence post it had multiple english mistakes AND was not making any sense. Luckily, I just enjoyed a two weeks holiday during xmas and new year 2020 during which I was able to sleep a lot (thank you grand parents). The result is a clear mind and not so many mistakes per line on this post :) Read more...

Diary of using a cut throat razor

I’m shaving with a cut throat razor. Rationally it is NOT the right thing to do: the cost is very marginally better but the time it takes to shave makes it higher takes ages for a shave (15) requires lots of accessories to do it well. pre-shave and post-shave lotions, soaps, shaving brushes cuts cuts cuts, six on the first shave three on the second, one on following ones, still always a risk So why?
